Trimble® GeoExplorer® instruments series 6000 take GNSS in GIS section to the next level. Instruments combine a high working in the field functionality with a high accuracy. GeoXH™ ensures decimetre positioning in real time. Also, it provides high-resolution images and enables smooth communication with the Internet via an optional cellular modem.

Along with the newest Trimble field software improvements and GNSS innovations, including Trimble Floodlight™ technology reducing satellites shading, GeoXH device sets new standards of efficiency, data collection and updating in the field, using GNSS systems.

Instant decimetre accuracy

A precise localisation of congested underground networks is crucial for workers in the field. GeoHX ensures a high accuracy, reliability and quickness of localising buried utilities, maintenance recording and repairing where necessary.

GeoHX instrument is supplied with 2-frequency, 220-channel GNSS receiver and a 2-frequency antenna. This enables GPS and GLONASS signal tracking. With an advanced Trimble field software and an implemented Trimble H-Star technology, the instrument enables positioning with a decimetre accuracy and eliminates the necessity to postprocess observations. Now, a user is confident that collected data is correct and the field work is done well.

Floodlight Technology – reduction of satellites shading

Trees and high buildings shade satellites and limit the area where precise GNSS positioning is possible. With an innovative Trimble Floodlight technology of reducing satellites shading, GeoHX ensures a smooth and efficient positioning even if other devices fail.

With Floodlight technology, the GNSS receiver in GeoHX can determine a position even if the signal from satellites is very low. This technology increases measuring capability with highest accuracy at places where measuring conditions are exceptionally hard. With GeoHX devices user can quickly collect reliable data, save time and resources.

Clear display in any conditions

GeoHX devices were supplied with a special display that optimises working in bright light and ensures comfort of use. It stays clear and bright in any conditions, including direct sunlight. The text is clear and easy to read. Maps and images are rich and bright. Also, working with a touch panel with 4.4”” (10.7 cm) diagonal screen size is comfortable and effective.

Wireless work in any place

GeoXH communicates with a built-in optional cellular modem, radio, Bluetooth® or Wi-Fi. This ensures smooth communication between employees working in remote places and these working in the office.

An optional cellular modem 3.5G ensures communication with the Internet everywhere. Without taking unnecessary breaks, corrections and remarks can be received in real time from VRS™ network. Also, maps can be downloaded, and data can be updated using internet resources.

Also, Bluetooth radio allows wireless connections with many peripheral instruments, such as laser range-finder, barcodes scanners or metal detectors.

Images in high-resolution

Taking a photo is often the best way to collect information about an object, event or phenomena. GeoXH instrument was supplies with a camera with a 5 mgp matrix, autofocus and geotagging function. The camera can be controlled by Trimble TerraSync™ field software or by other applications. Taking pictures and using them in GIS data base is smooth and enablesr an easy integration with data that has already been collected.

Designed for hard and efficient work

GeoExplorers series 6000 were designed to create an instrument with an integrated GNSS receiver that provides the most accurate positioning in the shortest amount of time and in places where this has not been possible before. Also, the instrument was supposed to do it all with the longest operation time possible on one set of batteries.

A lithium-ion battery ensures eight hours of continuous GNNS measuring per a batteries set, A unique battery construction simplifies batteries replacement without turning the instrument off so a lot of time is saved.

GeoHX is supplied with 256 MB memory and a very fast processor OMAP 2303 series. An integrated non-volatile memory 2 G that can be extended to 32 G with SDHC cards. There is no need to worry about storage space. Everything can be saved: high-resolution maps or the most complicated data collection.

A robust and resistant housing complies with IP56 standard. This dust- and water-proof instrument can work in hardest conditions. Wherever employees work, GeoHX will complete its task.

Intelligent measuring functions along with an unprecedented accuracy and efficiency ensure maximum productivity at manual GNSS and GIS positioning.
