AGATEC SmartRod is the only one intelligent electronic staff gauge in the world. This incredibly versatile instrument combines functions of an electronic staff, a metre/range-finder and a laser receiver.

SmartRod guarantees very quick and efficient readings without tedious calculations. The staff is compatible with laser equipment of many manufacturers, so it can be widely applied not only with AGATEC devices.

The staff enables digital readouts in three modes: height measurement: a standard reading from a levelling staff, cut-and-fills and metre/range-finder mode.

Moreover, its functions eliminate the necessity to make tedious calculations that are necessary when working with receivers and staves. In cooperation with a laser level, any reference plane can be determined. The result is displayed in a digital LCD display immediately.

The gauge enables measurements within the range 1–4 m, whereas a standard staff 2.4 m high enables readouts between 0.9 and 1.8 m. The instrument is powered with AA batteries and ready to be used in 30 seconds after s start-up.

The receiver is able to take 3 000 measurements on one batteries set. High-quality materials used in the production process guarantee reliability at work and high durability of the gauge.
